Bought through Mailforge, with full control of the domains, but no admin console like Google Workspace has.
Warmup (Warmforge)

What actually drives the Mailforge bill: mailbox slots plus the warmup you add
The meter is simple: mailbox slots times $3, plus $14 a year per domain. At 3 mailboxes per domain, 30 mailboxes need 10 domains, which is about $102 a month on monthly billing.
The cost the page does not show is time. A fresh mailbox needs weeks of warmup before it can carry a campaign, and warmup is a separate product. Budget both before comparing.
The real cost of Mailforge in practice
Sticker prices are the floor, not the ceiling. Here is the realistic annual math for common setups:

Hidden costs to budget for
Beyond the plan itself, these are the costs that surprise new Mailforge buyers:
- Warmup. Not included. Add a warmup tool and the weeks it takes before real sending.
- Not Google or Microsoft. Private SMTP on a shared IP pool. Some buyers need real Workspace or 365 seats for their ICP.
- No admin console. You control the domains, but there is no Google-style admin console for the mailboxes.
Is Mailforge worth the price?
If you send at high volume, run your own warmup and care most about cost per mailbox, Mailforge is hard to beat on price.
If you need to send this month, or you want real Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 accounts, the cheap slot is only the start. You still pay for warmup and wait for it.
